Application Fee

• Fee for General Category candidates: ₹500/-
• Fee for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates: ₹400/-
• Fee for Female / Transgender Candidates: ₹250/-
• Payment Mode: Through Online (Internet Banking, Debit / Credit Cards, or UPI)
• This fee of Rs 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT
• Only candidates who attend CBT-1 will get a refund of their examination fee as mentioned above.

Qualification

• A) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument
• Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air- Conditioning Mechanic. (OR)
  Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above (OR)
• B) Matriculation / SSLC plus three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering (OR)
  
• Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.
• Note : Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.

• The application process for RRB Recruitment 2025 is entirely online, conducted through the official RRB portal. Follow these steps to apply online for the Assistant Loco Pilot position:
• Step 1: Visit the Official Website
  • Go towww.rrbapply.gov.inor the respective RRB regional website (e.g.,www.rrbbhopal.gov.in,www.rrbsecunderabad.gov.in).
  • Ensure you’re accessing the official site to avoid scams.
• Step 2: Register
  • Click on the link for “RRB ALP 2025 Online Application.”
  • Select “Create an Account” and provide basic details like name, mobile number, email address, and Aadhaar number (for verification).
  • Create a strong password combining capital letters, small letters, numbers, and special characters.
  • Note down the registration number generated after successful registration.
• Step 3: Fill the Application Form
  • Log in using your registered mobile number, email ID, and password.
  • Enter personal details (e.g., name, date of birth), educational qualifications, and contact information.
  • Choose your preferred RRB and Railway Zone. Note: You can select only one RRB, so choose wisely.
• Step 4: Upload Documents
  • Upload scanned copies of:
    • Recent passport-sized photograph (30-70 KB, JPEG format, plain white background).
    • Signature (30-70 KB, JPEG format, running handwriting).
    • SC/ST Certificate (if applicable, for free train pass, up to 500 KB, PDF format).
  • Ensure all documents meet the specified size and format requirements.
• Step 5: Pay the Application Fee
  • General/OBC: ₹500 (₹400 refunded after appearing for CBT 1).
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Transgender/Minorities/EWS: ₹250 (fully refunded after appearing for CBT 1).
  • Payment modes: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  • Save the payment confirmation receipt.
• Step 6: Review and Submit
  • Double-check all details in the application form for accuracy.
  • Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
